The Dedham Congregational Church is proud to announce the calling of its new pastor, Rev. Dana Douglass.
Rev. Douglass lives on Deer Isle, and has been ordained for 22 years, and has served churches in Vermont, Massachusetts, and Maine. He is a graduate of Bates College and Andover Newton Theological School.
Rev. Douglass says he works hard at preaching interesting and engaging sermons that relate faith to daily living. He has a passion for issues of social justice, a commitment to serving God in the world, and a love of humor. For the past eight years, in addition to serving in several churches as an interim pastor, Rev. Dougalss has been a Registered Maine Guide, offering with his wife, Anne wilderness canoe expeditions and sea kayaking trips. They have two children , Miles and Leti
